Post by Werner PichlerPost by jlauridsenSome stats from the first half the season. Main point is an unusually
high amount of goals. I find the second graph interesting - it shows the
development in the percentage of away goals over time. There's a clear
upwards trend from the mid 70s to the mid zeroes. Since it kind of looks
level (but big swings from season to season).

Meanwhile, in 2. Bundesliga Magdeburg are now provisorily leading the
league despite not having won a single home game all season.
That cant be right? But they do have 8 draws, so possibly.
It doesnt matter Koeln are back on top and we are projecting they will
return to the 1st div.
We are at the end of our Polar Vortex event. Still -15 C this morning,
but should go up to - 6C this afternoon and a balmy 0C tomorrow. Ice
fishing guys gotta be real happy this winter, not to mention the longest
skating rink in the World is fully open for the first time in years. I
bet Mr lily White has been catching all sorts of Lings and Catfish and
jellied eels.
This could be a week where picking 2-2 draws win the tipsliga.

Augsburg
Heidenheim
Heidi needs points to stay up, so could end draw.
14:30 GMT
Dortmund
Werder Bremen
The Pretenders are dropping points all the time and played midweek, so
Werder should be confident of a point
14:30 GMT
Freiburg
Bayern
Freiburg no longer have to take bike rides in the midweek to far off
places like London. Bayern cant win either. Losing at home to Dutchmen
in the midweek! The harrykane curse is for real
14:30 GMT
Mainz
Stuttgart
Two teams trying to make Europe. Mainz the surprise pkg of the season,
not to mention VfB had midweek
14:30 GMT
RB Leipzig
Leverkusen
Leipzig at home could get points, should be close, I think, Red Bull
cant be as bad as their record suggests.
17:30 GMT
M'gladbach
VfL Bochum
Not much of a topspiel, any of the early matches are better. this should
be a win for BMG, but all the others could be draws.
