Man Utd pull off a 1999 UCL Final style fluke and hand Juve their first defeat of the season, and that too at home. Mourinho taunting the crowd at the end was kind of funny, as dislikable as he is.

Liverpool lose 2-0 to Red Star Belgrade! Humiliation to the core. Classic upset with a set-piece goal and a fluky worldie from long distance. Klopp needs to sort out the midfield which is pretty awfully uncreative right now. All workhorses and no artisan. Napoli and PSG draw, which means that this group is still wide open.

Spurs beat PSV at the death to hold on to their paper thin qualification hopes. They need to beat Inter at home, and then beat Barca on the road! Only hope: Barca is already qualified so will likely field a weaker team.

Other than that, all tother groups going pretty much according to script.

For Juventus, the loss was nothing. It did not really affect them to win
the group. They should actually be smart enough learn from it, and to
practice how to defend set-pieces as a priority now.

In spite of this disastrous result, 538 still have Liverpool at 14 % to
make the final, and 7 % to win, whereas PSG are at 10/5 and Napoli 7/3.

Before this round, 538 had PSG as third favourites to win the Europa
league. I thought this Liverpool result would make PSG go down in the
ranking for EL, but no, they are now second favourites (between Chelsea
and Arsenal, ahead of Sevilla - have they not been paying attention to
Sevilla's record ?). PSG at 13 % to make EL final, 7 % to win.
(Liverpool 9/5, Napoli 3/2)
