El Mundo Deportivo
"The corner of shame. Barcelona were pathetic. As if the only thing in their heads was a monkey hitting a drum, like in the Simpsons, possessed by ineptitude, shame marking every goal. A soulless team led by no one, full of doubts, stupid, sad, inexistent. As scared as a little lost boy on a beach looking for his mother, as defenceless as a featherweight facing Muhammed Ali’s fists, a rag doll in the hands of Liverpool, who were a gang of revolutionaries before the high bourgeoisie”

Sport (Barca's own toilet paper)
“This disgrace will go down in history. Shame. There is no other adjective to describe this, the biggest failure in Barcelona’s history. It is far greater than last year in Rome – and that despite the fact that they’d had that lesson. Nothing this century has been worse than what they suffered last night, Not even 1986. Not Athens in 1994. Nothing.”

Marca
“With the 3-0 – with Liverpool’s stars injured – with the league won – with the lesson of Rome – with the final at the Wanda – with Madrid out – with the best player in the world – a historic failure. The Champions League is too big for him (Valverde). He has to go. Bye, Ernesto. And please take Coutinho with you, a “ruin”.”

AS
“It was the magic of Anfield, of course, but above all it was the inability of a team with no personality away from home, sunk, undone, incapable of doing anything except praying for time to pass. A team that didn’t even rebel. It seemed impossible to be worse than Turin, Paris, Rome, but they managed it.”

Other choice superlatives
“torn to shreds” “left in tatters”, “exposed”, “destroyed,” “ridiculed” “disaster”, “debacle”, “blow of gigantic proportions” “soulless” “a monumental failure” “Barcelona burn at Anfield” “Anfield flattens Barcelona” “Liverpool devoured them”

He he he. Couldn't have happened to a nicer bunch of guys.

But the 1st prize goes to Kicker from Germany:

"Anfield flattened a trembling Barça like a cockroach"
This was not from Kicker, but from a collection of headlines around this
game assembled by Kicker.
The cockroach-headline actually was by AS from Spain

I am probably biased here, but this year has to be worse. 2013 was a humiliation through and through, but once they were down they were out. This year they couldn't have fallen from a position of strength more spectacularly. Consider that:
1) 3-0 lead (with no away goal conceded)
2) Title secured and completely rested at the weekend
3) Liverpool in the middle of a title dogfight with a blood, sweat, and tears victory just 4 days ago
4) Liverpool's morale further sapped by Kompany's late goal the night before
5) Salah and Firmino out (somewhat equivalent of Messi and Suarez being out for Barca)
6) Robertson injured and out at HT

Marca took the words out of my mouth. The football director needs to go too.
