Argentina obviously the massive favorites, but Canada gave them a hard
time in the first match, and Argentina was far less than spectacular
against Ecuador. Maybe this will be closer than it looks? (Sorry,
Canadian fans, I'm not trying to tempt the Weaufx Gods)

I dont know why they allow English referees in the COPA???? Argentina
goal starts from when a Canadian player is clearly fouled, but no call
on the play and the Argies score. Why the Hell do they have ENglish
refs doing this game? They are too dumb and this is too big match for
them, they are out of their depth.

Canada not doing badly, they actually started farily well. Who knows
they might actually score in the 2nd half.

FT: 2-0
Messi deflects (deliberately, as far as I could tell) an Enzo Fernandez
shot and gives Argentina a two goal lead. Which they needed, as Canada
had several chances to pull one back in the late stages, but it was not
to be.

Jonathan David went out injured after a bad challenge.

Or the semifinal or quarterfinal. One was on pens, I think.

Anyway Italy won their only Euros because of a coin toss, too, so we're
in good company.

It was their only one until recently, but it's not anymore.

Anyway, Copa America also had a winner who benefited from a similar
thing (drawing of lots, rather than a coin toss). Peru won the 1975
tournament after ousting Brasil in the semifinals on this tiebreaker.

I think you might need to update your reference material! ;-)

Italy beat England on penalties in the last European tournament.

Seniors moment, or maybe just suppression. I keep hearing Hamburg never
won the European cup, for example
